New LETRS Feature Will Allow Agencies to Keep Track of Training

A new feature in DOCJT’s Law Enforcement Training and Records System (LETRS) will allow agencies to track statutorily required training mandates, ensuring that their personnel meet the specific standards necessary for certification and Kentucky Law Enforcement Foundation Program (KLEFPF) purposes. This feature will be launched on Jan. 8, 2025.

Once the feature is live, agency training directors will be able to access the “Training Requirements” tab on the dashboard and click an icon next to an individual’s name to view detailed information about all relevant training requirements. The expansion of an individual in the list also shows the courses that apply to the training requirement. The new tool will indicate whether the individual has completed their specific training obligations for the year.

Additionally, agencies will have the ability to export personnel information in each training area for their records.
