WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN YOU APPLY:
Interested applicants must apply individually to each job opening for which they wish to compete.
For consideration, applicants must complete a profile and application on the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet’s hiring website – MyPurpose.
Upon successful completion of the application, each applicant will be notified by the MyPurpose website that their application has been successfully submitted.
As an applicant, you will be assessed by the Kentucky Personnel Cabinet and DOCJT to determine suitability for the open position.
Selected candidates will be notified and offered an interview by DOCJT.
The hiring agency will then submit the top three applicants to the Division of Career Opportunities (DCO).
The DCO reviews selected candidates to determine if all state personnel requirements have been met.
DOCJT makes a job offer to the top candidate approved by the DCO.
Applicants not selected during the process will be notified through the MyPurpose portal.
Applicants not selected can reapply for any open position for which they qualify.
The hiring process must be completed within 90 days.
