Scott Miller is currently a Lt. Colonel with the Kentucky State Police over the Administrative Division. Prior
to promoting to Lt. Colonel he served as a Major with Kentucky State Police from 2012 to 2015. Previous assignments
include Post Commander at Hazard and London Post as well as Commander of the KSP Legal Office for
three years. He worked several other field assignments as a Trooper and Sgt. such as Pikeville, London, Dry Ridge,
and Henderson. He attended undergraduate at Tusculum College in Greeneville, TN graduating in 1994 with
a BA in Psychology. He received his JD from Northern Kentucky University, Salmon P. Chase College of Law in
2005. He is admitted to the Kentucky Bar as well as the Federal Bar of the Eastern and Western Districts, the 6th
Circuit Court of Appeals and the United States Supreme Court. He serves on the Professional Standards Committee.
