John Coyle is currently the Woodford County Judge Executive, having been serving since 2007. Prior to this position, he spent 10 years as the Sheriff of Woodford County and prior to that, 10 years as deputy sheriff. Mr. Coyle has served on several different boards, including former president, treasure and instructor with D.A.R.E. of Woodford County. He also served on the board of the Kentucky Sheriffs’ Association. In 1992, he was recognized as Deputy Sheriff of the Year by the Kentucky Sheriff’s Association. He joined the Kentucky Law Enforcement Council in 2010 and serves on the Certification Committee.
